October 2020 Moodboard - Inspiration by Phyllis

We are so excited to share our first design team inspiration project for our October 2020 Moodboard and this one is coming from Phyllis! If you haven't seen our moodboard, no worries - there is plenty of time to create a project! Just join us over in the Scrapaholics Open Studio  for all the details and get your Scrapaholic chippies out to start creating. We are going to have a drawing the first week of November to determine the winner to a gift certificate toward any of our chipboard, but you have to be over there to get a chance! 

Now, back to Phyllis's project...

To create this stunning, Autumn-inspired canvas, Phyllis began by priming with white gesso and then White sand texture through a stencil to create texture in her background. , along with some crackle paste and stamping. She added Finnabair acrylic paints for some pops of color. 

Phyllis chose our Box Post Fence, Leafy Flourish set 2, Vine Window with Shutters and Follow Your Dreams chipboards, which she heat embossed using Lindy's Gang and Wow embossing powders. She also added some leaf castings that she created with Prima's {Re}Design Leafy Blossoms mold and painted them with Rust Effects and Finn's acrylic paints. 

For a final touch, Phyllis added sequins, microbeads, seedbeads and glitter for loads of extra interest.
