Hope - Maureen

Maureen has been slightly obsessed with creating these adorable little pocket cards - and we have to agree, they are so precious and sweet! Making these is as simple as creating a square envelope from any style of paper and cutting down complementing stationery, tags and ephemera to tuck inside, but she adds her special touch with her mixed media style and we are here for it!

For this pocket, she used our Rose Flourish chipboard and a custom sentiment we made for her, hope. Maureen altered the rose flourish by cutting it in half to add a piece to each side of the pocket. She prepped with gesso and then tinted it with Victorian Velvet Tim Holtz Distress Ink before heat embossing with ultra thick embossing enamel.

She tucked in layers of paper flowers and threads and topped this beauty off with her sentiment, which she heat embossed with black and white, salt + pepper embossing powder to help it pop.
